Dear Fellow Gardeners,

Wednesday afternoon I had a long chat with Joe who had gardened in  
the plot we now have for two years before having to move to a new and  
very shaded plot to the west.  He has lost plants to grazing as  
well.  He has some pole beans trained nicely upwards and showed me  
where they had been grazed far above the height that a groundhog  
could reach.  So deer it is.  Paul was right.

I hope the deer don't come back.
