[Garden] what goes munch in the night

It's them or us!  Everyone, secure a rifle and fire randomly into the trees!

Seriously, a double snow fence around the entire garden is the only 
method I know of painlessly deterring deer.  They're ugly, but they 
work.  I'm sure the UW grounds workers will throw a hissy fit if we try it.
