You've all been waiting, and waiting, and waiting, watching the plants
grow higher and higher, harvesting the scapes and using them to tasty
proportions. Watching the time slowly dry the stalks, waiting for their
moment of glory...

Well, wait no longer!

Garlic bread, roasted garlic, stir fries, garlic marinades, (insert
awesome food here that benefits from the presence of garlic)

The garlic has been separated out into two portions:

1) The garlic in the bag is to be NOT EATEN so that we
can save the bulbs for planting in the fall (working towards that
sustainability goal!) My goal is to get ~20 bulbs in there which will
give us ~100-140 cloves to plant (assuming 5-7 cloves per bulb). We can
always raise this number if we want to plant that much more!

2) The garlic in the bucket/square-ish container is to
be EATEN so have at 'er! Generally what happens is that every week,
I'll go pull some out, tie it up, and then take it home to dry. Once
dry, I bring it back to the garden nice and sorted. There's not much in
there right now for consumption, but I have about 2 dozen bulbs drying
and will hopefully bring them on Sunday.

Vive l'ail! (ie: Hooray for garlic!)

Pete
