-- There were a few new faces out tonight (people I'd never met before,
at least). That's great to see! Welcome to the garden!

-- There is one remaining bed with nothing planted in it yet. Please
leave it empty. We'll eventually plant peppers in that bed.

-- All the fragile plants were covered in preparation for possible frost
tonight. Greta and I will visit the garden tomorrow morning (i.e. 11
hours from now) and uncover the plants.

-- A bunch of new things were planted, including carrots, more lettuce,
zucchini, and more I'm forgetting. Nearly everything was watered.

-- Volunteers are needed to talk to UW Food Services and arrange a
one-day compost drive.

-- I left the seed in the shed; there's no need for me to be keeping it
at my house anymore.

-- The combination for the lock on the shed is 12-36-6. The lock is old
and rusty. I'll bring some WD-40 sometime (probably next Wednesday).
Meantime, if the lock gives you trouble then a Robertson screwdriver or
a good hard kick will also get you into the shed.

The garden typically meets Sunday afternoon. The "official" start time
keeps changing (is it 1pm now?).

I'm away on weekends. See you next Wednesday.

Gus
