Hi, Misato:
Evan from WPIRG forwarded your email to the UW Community Garden list.
The Community Garden is located just across Westmount from CLV - we're
beside the greenhouses. We have compost bins and would love to have
your raw food scraps or finished compost. You can either dump it
directly in our bins, or we could probably arrange to pick it up.
Also, if you like local food, you're more than welcome to come garden
with us - it's free, can be as casual as you want, and lots of fun.

Here's our garden webpage which has a good map. In the picture, you
can see the compost bins, which are made of wood pallets, behind the
gardeners.

If you have any questions, you can email the garden list (I think you
might have to be signed up for it, though) at garden at lists.wpirg.org
or me at m.rosamond at gmail.com

Cheers,
Maddy Rosamond
PhD student in gardenology (just kidding - earth sciences)
