For once, I think I'll actually be able to show up to a meeting!
(Assuming I don't get crazy swamped :-() I am looking forward to seeing
the new faces, as well as the other faces I haven't seen in a while!
If the WPIRG office is confirmed, lemme know.
Pete

I can make the thursday meeting at 6:00. Whether at the WPIRG office of
the garden.
If we don't meet at the garden, then I'd be willing to go there after to
aid with the work that needs to be done.
And I also think greg's suggestion of crop rotation is a great idea! As
I haven't been with the garden in previous seasons, I'm not sure what
the map looks like. But it is always best not to replant any nightshades
in the same location as last year, as a preventative measure against
fungal and viral diseases. Maybe we can rotate the cucurbits too, since
we had a squash bug problem?

Hey everyone,
I have an exam at 7:30 on thursday, so I won't be able to make it out.
Could someone send the minutes out after the meeting for those who
couldn't make it? Thanks,
Britton

Hey Gardeners,
I happen to still be on the keylist for the WPIRG office and would love
to meet on thursday at 6pm. So we can meet in the WPIRG office.
I think its a bad idea to only keep the office open when staff are
there, after all WPIRG should be an open environment.
Thanks,
Matt Heppler
PS I am sorry I was unable to make it to seedling planting, but will be
able to come out to garden activities, now that the term is over.

Hi all,
In summary: Meet this week on Thursday at 6pm - Yay or Nay?
As usual, it seems that people are available on different days.
This particular week I could make it on Wednesday or Thursday evenings.
Also, just an update re: a meeting place. The WPIRG office is
only officially open from 10am to 4pm, and they've recently done away
with access to the office outside of those hours unless a staff member
is there (at least, that's the impression that I got).
That being said, I got the impression from Evan that he's happy
to book meeting rooms in the Student Life Centre on our behalf, if we
just let him know what time we want (and perhaps what size room we want
- given the response to this email I'd say a large-ish one).
In the spirit of moving things along, I propose that we meet
this Thursday at 6pm (as that seems to be the day that might work okay
with the majority of people?) I will go ahead and put the wheels in
motion by getting a room booked - the booking can always be changed if
we want to.
Let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Alicia
