Greetin's Greg,
Y'all can be showin me tha secrets a chewin
wheat when I shows up wit ma bag o spring wheat.
The burdock is another issue. I have specifically
chosen japanese burdock as a favour to some japanese immigrants. Perhaps
I should harvest some free-range burdock and have a blind taste test.
As you may have guessed, I like to try and grow
something experimental each year. The only thing stopping me from
planting a couple of hazelnut bushes is that they take eight years to
bear nuts, okay and they can get up to twelve feet tall, and then
there's the fact that you have to have two different cultivars to get
them to pollinate, and the other.... well, it would be nice to have a
small fruit tree or a nut orchard.
