[Garden] asparagus

Hey everyone, I just came into possession of a few asparagus roots that I
have no room to plant at my apartment.  So, I was wondering if there is any
space at the garden that anyone thinks would be good with asparagus?  Also,
I picked up a file a little while back to sharpen the shovels, so if you
guys want me to sharpen them some time please let me know. Thanks,
