[Garden] Compost mystery?

Hello all,

I went to the garden early this morning to drop off some food scrap for
composting. (If I remember correctly, the very left one is to put stuff in.)


Then I thought to myself, where had the stuff I put in last week go besides
some lemon peels?? I don't think it gets composted that fast, does it??

I am concerned that we might be actually attracting wild things out there
with our yummy stuff.

I noticed some fences are up around certain blocks (thank you!), but I
wonder if we need to put some fences around the compost as well or not.

Just a thought.
