[Garden] Reminder: Meeting Tonight, 7pm in WPIRG office (SLC 2139) Mon Feb 23, 2009

For everybody interested in gardening this summer :)
Here is an agenda that I propose based on the idea that we would like to
leave some decisions until Greg can attend.

Let's start with the first meeting of the term on Monday Feb. 23 at 7:00 pm,
WPIRG office.

Tentative agenda:

1. Introductions, review and agree upon meeting agenda

All of the following points will need two-ish people to take on the
coordination of:

2. How, where and when to recruit new members

3. Budget: Where to get money for seeds and other purchases (I think this is
urgent enough to at least start talking about, we can continue discussion
into second meeting)

4. When to hold the planting party (if we are having one).

5. Finding foster parents for the seedlings we grow.

6. Compost  from the city, compost runs from food services

7. Deciding when gardening times will be, having official volunteer greeters
to ensure people feel welcome at the garden

8. Decide when and where to hold the next meeting, perhaps use it as a
recruitment event (offer food?)


For later consideration, Items that we could leave to a second meeting:

What seeds we need to reorder (we should get on this)

Do we want to get stuff for a fence?
