Gardeners,
If you showed up yesterday you were likely chased by
security. I managed to talk my way past them, but that was early in the
day.

I planted more beans and corn in the fallow land. The
Earlyvee corn should come up in 55 days, but I am not holding my breath.
Does anyone have fishing line?I'd like to string some up to deter deer.
I also sprinkled some radish seed in the unplanted section. If we let
that go to seed the radishes will compete with the weeds, and soften the
clay soil. On the other hand, we could just eat them.

The main section looks great and productive. The health
benefits of our organic approach are evident in the enormous mice I see
running about the North end of the garden. The radishes are ready, and
the beets will want thinning. I have radish seed if anyone want to
re-sow radish. Fianlly, does anyone know what a ripe gooseberry looks
like? Ours are starting to turn reddish, and I'd like someone to eat
them before the geese(?) gobble them up.
