[Garden] Spotted groundhog

Gardeners,
                 Thanks to Kerry for her idea, it's my favourite. I know 
that I can get clover at OSC, alfafla is a bit of a challenge. Both of 
them are soil improvers.
>  Also, planting alfalfa or clover (one of their favourites) close to 
> their burrows would encourage them to eat that instead of the veggies.

As for the groundhog, it's hard to feel warm and fuzzy towards nature's 
little buddies when you're looking at the devastation they have wreaked. 
If a patches of yummies will keep him at bay, and improve our soil, then 
that would be my preferred strategy.
