I picked a bunch of them, but they were underripe. I made some (rather
tart) gooseberry glop. I would be happy to bring a jar of it to a
public place (the WPIRG office?) for people to consume. I picked the
berries in the hope of sharing glop with the garden, so it is a shame
that I messed up. 

There are still some gooseberries on the big bush (at least a pint,
and probably closer to a quart). Ludi asked us to refrain from picking
the rest until they got deep red.
