[Garden] [BULK] Fencing

I only had time to get two posts in.
I've used 2x4s and put them almost 2ft into the ground (clay). They should be quite stable.
Also, I didn't quite know where the others should go wrt the trees and composter. Paul or Ian, did you have a plan?
Two more corner posts are in the shed if someone wants to put them in.
The key to make them strong is to really pack the dirt around them (I used the top end of the shovel handle). I also wedged some large stones in the hole.
I don't know if I will get back this weekend, but it would be really good if people can get the fencing done this weekend, probably more important than weeding.
While we were there, a family of racoons checked us out from a distance, so we're up against higher intelligence than groundhogs.
Should we consider using scare-crows (preferably animatronic!) or noisy shiny things?

I'm going over to the garden in a few minutes (Sat. Morning) to put in corner posts for fence.
Come by if you want to help.
