Excellent. Thank you. I think FnB should take as much lettuce as it
can use (and the rest of us should do so as well). I took home close
to an entire grocery bag of lettuce and I barely made a dent. 

There is currently row cover (white cloth sheets) over the lettuce bed. Peel
that back then use scissors to give the lettuce a "haircut" by
cutting it close to the ground. This will leave the lettuce alive so
that it can potentially grow back and give us more cuttings (if it
does not go bitter first). The row cover should then be put back and held 
down with rocks. 

In addition to lettuce there are some other things FnB might take.
There are lots of chives, lots of mint, and lots of oregano (by the
wooden sign). The chives with the flowers on them will likely be
woody, but you can pick and choose or you can pick from plants that
don't have flowers (which were given haircuts before).
