[Garden] Flowers and rain

Gardeners,
                   In the past we have focussed strictly on edible 
plants. This Monday, at the Waterloo Blooms event I will be in a 
position to get free decorative plants. How do we feel about flowers in 
the garden?

                  In addition to being a big rain wimp, I am on foot, 
bike-less,  this week. If it rains I won't be there tonight. Eventually 
I'll have to toughen up or get my bike out of the shop.
