Hi Candace Wormbecker and others interested in a food dehydrators and pressure cookers.
The dehydrators ?that have been mentioned by some of you are made of poly plastic trays, it is better to have a stainless steel food dehydrators since it is healthier than the toxic plastic, synthetic material trays. ?I found one that is stainless steel in the Healthy Directions Magazine in the Aug/Sept. 2009. It is found in the Shopping Guide section the address is www.YourTheCure.com, their number is 1 888-887-8822, no PSTax right now.
?It has adjustable thermostat, and various sizes of drying capacity. ?It has 5, 10,14 shelf models. ?
Also Presto Pressure cooker now makes their pot in aluminum ?but they still have a stainless steal pots. ?Aluminum pressure cookers are not healthy because of the high aluminum leaching which has been linked to early Alzheimer disease and other toxicity. ?
Better to buy the Presto stainless steal pressure cooker, and the a dehydrator made of stainless steal frame and trays. ?

I am planning to go there, weather permitting. I hope to be there for

another note, I bought some fall bulbs. I'd like to plant, and stake, 
them along the border of the garden and brighten up the place.

I think the Thursday evening strategy did not work all that well
during the summer. We ended up scattering days and times that many of
us ended up gardening alone. 

This term I am committing to Sunday afternoons again (which have also
been very quiet). 

I imagine the other regular meeting time will again be Wednesdays, but
I will let Wednesday people confirm that.

The wood is still around, so I think a Kijiji post would be a great
idea. A couple of planks are disgusting, though. We may have to
dispose of those some other way.

Hi I am just sending this to say that I will be going to the garden at 7:00 until dark on wednesdays so if anyone would like to join me, I would love the company. Food is provided.

You and all the others who signed up for the Garden on Monday have 
already been subscribed. The garden is meeting tonight at 5pm and I 
believe they have a meeting on Sundays as well (someone from the 
Garden can correct me if I'm wrong :))

We do meet on Sundays. My hope is to get there for 4pm or so, but
maybe new people should aim for 4:30pm unless somebody else says they
will be there earlier. 

This is all weather permitting.

Dear Gardeners, 

If the weather is reasonable then I hope to be at the garden next
Sunday sometime around 4pm. Feel free to join me; gardening together
is much more fun than gardening alone. I usually stay until at least
6pm. 

Other gardeners may be showing up earlier. Maybe they will confirm
their presence so you can go earlier if you want.
