Dear Alicia and other gardeners,

Once again garden lists won't accept my messages. Could you
forward this for me. Also, please contact Evan Coole and have
him do something about my always getting rejected every few
months.

I would really like to be at the meeting and would greatly appreciate
it if it were held after the 26th. I have a lot of seeds on hand
and it would be a pity if we spent money duplicating them. I
also have an excellent set up for growing seeds and this needs to be
coordinated with others. I also would like to make a proposal
regarding a better way to take care of weeding, so that we can lick
the bindweed problem once and for all rather than falling behind time
and again.

Thanks - and greetings from Mexico.

I'm away until Feb 26. Could we stage the meeting shortly after
then? I have got seeds for a new "blight-resistant"
tomato and will get them started right away on returning. I have quite
a lot of various seeds from last year but can't give you a full list
since I'm out of country (a little town in the uplands of Mexico with
fabulous papayas).

I will also be away from May 5 until 24. I can get lots of
things started under my grow lights (14 sets of flourescent lamps) but
must make an arrangement with someone to take care of the plants the
last 10-14 days before planting out.Quoting Madeline Rosamond <m.rosamond@gmail.com>:
Shall I smuggle back a load of papayas?
I collected seed from a lovely wild marigold yesterday, and will try
to bring back seed of interesting peppers, also seed of the best
spinach I've ever eaten.

Hi, all:
I heard Alicia mention something about a garden meeting a while ago
-
did I miss it? Did it get abandoned?
I seem to remember Monday was good, so how about Monday, Feb 23?
(That's after reading week). Potential things to talk about (add
more
if you think of them):
- what seeds we need to reorder (we should get on this)
- Where to get money for seeds and other purchases
- Do we want to get stuff for a fence?
- How, where and when to recruit new members

What time is good for everyone? I'm throwing 7 PM out there, apropos
to nothing.

Cheers,
Maddy
