The roots of the <br>weeds cant get through it and over time it will degrade. So if we <br>rake up the woodchips and lay down some newspaper we can put the <br>woodchips over top of the newspaper and see if it works. Candace and I were easily able<br>to turn about 1 foot of soil over in the bed near the compost heap. I<br>think doing this for all the beds is sufficient, and saves us effort in<br>trying to hunt down a tiller. <br><br>It sounds like some people will be out later in the day on Sunday, so I<br>will try to be there then as well.
